ABOUT THIS CHURCH
All Saints is approached through a magnificent avenue of yew trees that were planted in 1867. It is of many periods but mainly Perpendicular and constructed of cobble, rubble and medieval brick. The two story c13 vestry has a most attractive round stair turret leading to what may have been the Priest’s room with a window looking down into the church. The west tower was built in 1442 and there is a brick Perpendicular clerestory that contains fragments of medieval, c17 and c18 glass. The pulpit is dated as 1615. The rood screen of 1913 was designed by Temple Moore with figures by Beyaert of Bruges, the reredos was also designed by Temple Moore
